Now why the hell would the person(s) who came up with these arithmetic symbols make multiple symbols for something that means the exact same thing!?

All that you do with the X is put an extra stroke through it and it turns in to this: * And it means the exact same thing as the X!? Dafuq!?

Why invent two or more things that are pretty much the same thing and they mean the same thing?

That's one of the reasons why I'm not good at math. If I had have known that it meant "multiply" I would've figured it out easily.

Mainly because "X" stands for something else when you are working with variables. "X x Y = XY" is more confusing than "X*Y=XY".

Also when you see a problem like "(5)(10)+5=55" The parenthesis mean to multiply also.

Division has many symbols also. ÷, /, etc...

I didn't find it (100% n00b), I just wanted to increase the amount of fake boxes online (it only allows me to use 5 fake boxes by default)

Might want to wait for a pro to answer but I doubt it would hurt to try.

What you did was wrong. Also, 60000000 is not universally usable, it always depends on the code.

I don´t remember right now how to achieve your request, though.

Try with value 38807FFF, just a random guess for now.

The default value is: A8830020

But what I don't get is that it's a really weird number when I converted it from Float to Decimal. When I converted it from Hexadecimal to Decimal it gave me like 2 billion and something, but I don't think that that's right.

I found this value in the second block over from the address 8056B984: 38840001

The address for where I found the value of 38840001 is 8056B98C
But that isn't the address used in the code. I don't know.

But again I'm needing help Embarassed ....now I need help to convert a code from NTSC-J to PAL. Actually, I use the Mario Kart Wii Code Generator v17 to do the conversions (with the Auto-Porter), but with this code I'm getting this message: Please check your code for placeholders(which I don't know what it means)...

I think that it's just a part of the Assembly, but I'm just guessing. I don't even think that you could port a code like that using only RAM dumps especially with a program that isn't perfect, but I might be wrong.

you mean that I need more than just a generator to convert the code to another region???? I don't know

Edit: I found that "wrong line" just trying to convert the code line by line...the program showed me the placeholder message when I introduced the line just like this: 20001880 00000000 (original line)

...then I changed number by number to a random value to see where the program finally let me do the conversion, and it was on this part 20001880 00000000.....The program left me to convert this line to PAL when I introduced this 2 ways:

2F001880 00000000

yes, these changes were only to find "where is the problem", but there are more than just this line, because I already did what you wrote to me and the program still shows me that message....

The program obviously can´t port such a complex code.
There aren´t any placeholders, blame the program for failing that hard.

I don´t like auto-porter because it´s pretending to do something it can´t do:
Porting any code! Rolling Eyes
