Gecko Cheat Code Manager Trouble Shooting

In this tutorial I'll show you various error messages by the code manager and how to fix them. Wink

The code contains non-Hex characters aka placeholders.
Only 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F are valid! Note that the letters can be lowercase too.

Enter the right game Id for the game you want to use the cheats for. Otherwise the Wii won't know which game you thought of. Duh!

You can't write to this drive because of lacking permissions or it's simply not permitted in general. Try running the application as administrator. Also, it expects a destination which is not the Windows C:\ drive.

Failed to overwrite file because it was read-only or it can't be accessed anymore. It may also be opened by another program which blocks the file.

A code line is invalid if it doesn't consist of 8 digits, a space and 8 digits again.

You either have an empty code list or a list without a single code line activated. Make sure you tick at least one of them before storing modifications or exporting to GCT.
