F*ck You, Rapidshare!

When I went to the website I was planning on uploading at least 3 GB of files and it said "By March 20th 2013 we're only allowing up to 5 GB for free users. If you don't choose another account (pro account) by March 20th 2013, then your files will be deleted."

Looks like I'm going back to Mediafire. F*ck you, Rapidshare!

I just tried it out and it's pretty much the same thing as Rapidshare, but with just a few tweaks. Unfortunately, it's called a "file uploading site", but the only problem about it is... it won't let me upload files!

The form shows up and everything, but the upload button doesn't work! Probably because it's written in Java and Java doesn't work on XP like it used to (for me at least).

Whenever I use an applet on a website that requires Java, it says that I don't have Java installed or Java has been disabled on my computer. I checked everything to make sure that it's enabled in Firefox and on my computer, but it still says the same thing.

Hell, Google doesn't even work for me without a proxy! It keeps coming up with this error whenever I click on a link to a website and it says "504! That's an error. That's all we know. The URL at (bunch of numbers and letters) doesn't work for this server. I tried it with over 100 different websites.

I think that it might be time for me to defrag my computer or to just get a new computer.

ummm, that's weird...you could try to reinstall java to the last version and check your .NET Framework version too, that may help.

Thanks for the tip! I tried updating to the latest version of Java, but it keeps giving me an error. I'll see if I have the latest build of .NET Framework. I have 4.0, but I'm not sure if I have the latest build.

I know, because it was working perfectly fine a couple of days ago. I tested it on my sister's computer and it worked perfectly fine. So it has to be my computer.

I want one that has at least 25 GB, allows you to create folders for different files, allows you to import files from a URL, allows other people to download the files that you upload, allows unlimited amount of files that you can upload, allows you to upload at least 200 MB per file for free.

I think that deposit files makes you enter in a captcha and half the time they're so hard to read. Although, I wouldn't really mind if other people had to wait a certain time (10 seconds max) or had to enter a captcha (that's easy to read).

Noone needs really big file upload limits. You can make parts anyways. Mediafire has 50 GB free which is easily enough for normal usage.
