Need to Know if I did it Right

Okay I'm out of practice big time so I've been working on studying and I need to know if I'm understanding this right. This code

With this in oder for the code to work it needs to be done as a positive or true. Just like in the DVAR would be perk_blackbirdShowsGpsJammer "1"
and the way to write positive or true would be this 01000000 not 00000001 as Sonic had originally made it. I need to know if I am right or wrong going from PS2 and PS3 stuff to this is a little confusing I just wanna make sure I am doing it right.

Writing 00000001 usually works also but it should be 01000000.

Note that this only relates to CoD.

To figure out the datatype such as boolean, ascii, integer, float etc. you need to make a good guess or often the default value reveals it.

There's also a way using a USB Gecko to get a better clue about which datatype is expected (setting a breakpoint read and looking at the assembly instruction).
