Can someone tell me how to find activators/ auto activate for a game that hasn't been coded? angle

For button activators you hold down button(s) and search for the button value until you find an address which works. It's very easy to do.

For auto activators you need to find an address which has a certain value when it should auto-activate and another value when it shouldn't. This can almost be any address, there are many that would work in most cases.

28 is the codetype and the rest the address of the button activator.

Ok. I think you're confused. I am attempting to code for a game that hasn't been codes before. An activator on CODBO is 28200FA0 00008000
But the MW3 one is different
I'm wondering how they found these activators
I know how to use an activator but I need the like 28200FA0 part but for a different game. How would I find it?

You find an address which changes its values like the button values ZZZZ and take the last 6 digits from it for the button activator. These will be the X's in the following template:

28XXXXXX YYYYZZZZ

Y's are FFFF - ZZZZ.

Just look at a button activator address in the memory viewer while auto-update is turned on and you'll know how you can use equal searches to find it in another game.
