1.Download Kingroot APK on to your Android Lollipop + device.
2. Boot your phone in to recover.
3. Select Write Protect
4. Turn Write Protection off (if you leave on your phone will freeze while rooting)
5. Start up your phone and open Kinroot
6. It says your phone is unsupported but you can try.
7. you will be rooted successfully.

you can find the APK from trusted sites like XDA and such but becarefull when finding the official apk.
