Dolphin GameCube Adapter - "Adapter Detected" Then Not Upon Game Boot

I bought a GameCube adapter + controller yesterday. I've spent all day and most of the night trying to figure out this issue. I don't want to believe I just spent 60$ on something that isn't going to work.

So, here's the issue:

I've followed all the guides on Google and YouTube. Use Zadig, switch to Wii U mode. I've used other programs as well, and had no issues with any of them, until I get to Dolphin. I switch on from PC to Wii U mode. It says adapter detected. Great! But then when I boot up a game, it flickers between adapter detected / not detected. I don't know what is causing this to happen.

I've pretty well tried everything that Google and YouTube has told me to do, but yet the problem is still there. And no, I'm not buying the official GameCube adapter. It's 150$ on Amazon... FUCK THAT!

If anyone could give me some advice, it would help. Thanks!

I bought a Mayflash adapter. I will see how it works. If it doesn't, I'm just going to give up on it.

So, I got the Mayflash adapter today. I tried it out, and it works perfectly but with only one downside: The left analog stick on the controller occasionally, on its own, moves to the left. So, whenever I move a character, the character runs around in a counter-clockwise motion.

I'll see what I can find on Google to fix this issue. Other than that, it works great.
