Wii U Hackable

Yep! The Wii mode has been hacked. It already was since the old exploits couldn´t be patched.

Nintendo managed to delete them from the SD Card if that suspicious data is detected before booting one of the games. (After doing so, the game receives control and not the operating system anymore therefore they can´t run some code to prevent exploits, the game code is on the disk and unmodifyable).

Hacking the Wii mode hasn´t appeared to be hard, but cracking the Wii-U mode will be the real challenge. It doesn´t mean anything as of now.

Why? The USB Gecko can´t be used anymore on the Wii-U.

They are making a gecko for the WiiU's SD slot

I heard the Wii U also has 3-4 USB ports. I can just imagine the possibilities.

Everyone says that the WiiU is shit anyways. THQ developers even said the CPU for the WiiU is shit. I don't really care anyways since I'm getting a ps3. I would much rather spend money on a quality system than the wiiU's bullshit. I hope that they do for epic Mickey 2 and put black ops 2 on both the WiiU and wii. I dont know how Much longer I will be making wii hacks...

The WiiU actually has slightly better hardware than a PS3 or Xbox. The next gen with PS4 etc. will beat the WiiU by far though.

I don't think it will be a SD Gecko, because I've never seen or heard of a SD card being wired/wireless. If it is wireless and it works in the same way the USB Gecko does by having to hook it up to a computer and searching for addresses on the computer, we will have to also make a computer that can read SD cards wirelessly since I'm pretty sure that as far as I know there is no such thing as a computer that can read SD cards wirelessly.

I know about those kind of SD cards, but I was talking about an SD card that you don't even have to plug into your computer, it just sends signals to your computer back and forth and transfers the information to and from the SD card, unless that's what those Wi-Fi cards can do. If a Wi-Fi SD card can do that, I can't believe that I didn't even know that.

Grand Theft Auto 5 may yet appear on other platforms, Rockstar boss Dan Houser has indicated.

The open world adventure is currently only slated for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but versions for PC and Wii U are "up for consideration", Houser told IGN.

"The main thing is we are not... we are a third-party publisher. We're not Nintendo, we're not Sony, we're not Microsoft. We love all of them in different ways. But we can do what we want wherever there's the appropriate business opportunity and chance to find a market. If that's on Apple we put something on Apple."

Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime told MTV over the weekend that he had noted positive comments from Rockstar about Wii U.

"The folks there have said very nice public comments about the Wii U. In the end, it is Nintendo's responsibility to have a large installed base, to have development tools that help the developers and publishers create great content, and essentially create an environment where teams like Rockstar can bring their very best content to our platform," he said.

"If we do that hopefully the very best content throughout the entire industry will show up on Wii U."

Rockstar previously supported the Wii with versions of Bully, Manhunt 2 and Rockstar presents Table Tennis. The developer has yet to announce any Wii U projects.

Yeah!! Glad I didnt waste my $ on the one for wii. Now I have something to look forward too! If I can ever afford the U. I'd probably buy this first before the U just to make sure I had one.

Plans suddenly changed:
Everyone who didn´t buy a Gecko yet is in favor when the SD Gecko comes out (and he has a WiiU), which supposely should work for the U and Wii. If I had never got a Gecko, I would probably buy it just for using it on the Wii. It´s just too much fun to make codes.

But... nothing confirmed. We´ll go with fake for now.
