usb loader gx cannot see my gct file

I have installed usb loader gx, updated all ios everything works fine except it shows an empty folder when I check the path of my gct in the "codes" folder, does anyone have any idea why the loader cannot see my gct file? I then placed a text code file and stuck it in the txt folder but the loader says that folder is also empty, not sure if its connected with the same problem but if I try connecting to gecko codes through the loader to download a text file it says either my ip is blocked or just fails to get anything

I have this problem as well. I used Ocarina Cheat Code Manager on PC to use hacks not the GeckoCodes DB. It keeps telling me the same thing, but I would boot the game and the hacks would work fine both online and offline. I don't know what might be wrong with your Wii / USB Loader GX though.

I just found this amongst the notes I made about the problem a couple of days ago..this is most likely what the problem is, I totally forgot about it because I wrote the notes same time as having a spliff lol

JODI is a Nintendo thing to block mods if I am correct obviously from the update which I did to get the shop channel, the update doesn't affect my hbc though so I`l see if priiloader will block the JODI from working, if not I`l just format my wii and re install

If I remember correctly, geckocodes access using Accio Hacks etc. is screwed. May have to do with the WiFi Connection shutdown or the hoster James uses (since the problem now exists for a while).

Just stick to the old-school Ocarina Code Manager from 2008 xD

Formatting your Wii usually doesn't fix the problem. I've learned from experience. lol

computers aren't a problem so I never need to reinstall on those, the only reason the wii is casing problem is because I never got into them like you lot, I was too busy playing mk
but I formatted the wii because it was updated just to make sure that wasn't causing the problem,, and it wasn't so I have eliminated one possibility so now I just need to find out why the loader sees no gct or text file

Maybe the files are not where they're supposed to be or try another loader. It does work if you do it RIGHT.

sorted it, codes load now but they still don't show up

I just wanted to get rid of the update

As long as the codes get booted that's all that matters. You can enable / disable them on PC.
