First topic message reminder :

Guys I need help. Everytime I try to use the hacks my wii freezes up. It happens when I use the OSsleepthread hooktype in gecko. But when I put it back to default the codes don't even work. What is the cause of this?

Modder~Kid,
is there something I can do to fix the usb problem? I'm pretty sure that it's a cios or something because I was working on the games freezing and I messed with something and it went out. I'm not sure what it was that I did though.

Update: Just fixed the usb loader error. It turns out I had a bad cios 222. But now onto the wii freezing during gameplay. Any Ideas? Happens during all games so I'm pretty sure it's not codes.

Well crap. I fixed the problem with the usb loader not opening the usb drive, but now I can't load covers, I load the game and it says no codes found, and going into mw3 gets stuck at the loading screen. Dang it!!

You need a certain cIOS to run MW3 or basically any CoD game. Otherwise it just gets stuck.

Okay. But do you know which cios it is? So many to choose from lol. I ran pimp my wii so I'm pretty sure the only cios's I have are 249d2x with base of 56, 250d2x with base of 57, and 222 which was an installer app in the homebrew channel.

Okay so I'm using CFG Usb Loader, and in the description it says it requires wakinko cios 249. Does it matter what version I use? I selected 21 in Modmii.

Sorry. I changed to Wiiflow because it seems to work a little better. It says it requires cios 249 or 222. I have them both. But When I try loading mw3 from it, it doesn't work. It goes to a blank screen.

Using CFG Loader, it loads the game, but even with codes on, it says no codes found. Wtf is going on here?

You need to install the right cIOS the right way before you can use it to boot MW3. Also, USB Loaders check certain paths for codes. 2 - 3 are valid which I don't quite remember. Just use the Gecko Cheat Code Manager to save to the SD Card. It will create the correct path.

Ocarina Cheat Code Manager is basically the same but with a different name, it's the older version.
