If you've ever ever tried to type BBCode into a message box on a Forumotion site and you get the results of the BBCode instead of the actual BBCode inside the message box and you want to change it back, just follow these simple steps.
What's causing this is the WYSIWYG editor mode is turned on. WYSIWYG stands for What You See Is What You Get. It's basically a live editor. You see what you'll get before you've even compiled it.
As far as I know, there is no way to change this from your profile options or whatever. The only way that I found that works is editing the cookie which controls the WYSIWYG editor. Obviously you will need a cookie editor for this. There are many addons for all browsers, but the one that I use and will recommend is EditThisCookie. It's very quick and easy to use.
Just search for it on Google. It's available for Opera and Chrome. If you're using Firefox, check the link below.

When you have the program opened, look for the cookie that's titled "WYSIWYG_STATE". If the value is 0 (off), you shouldn't be getting the WYSIWYG BBCode formatting. If you are, then something is fucked up! If it's set to 1 (on), change it to 0 and refresh the page and you won't get the WYSIWYG BBCode formatting anymore.
I hope I helped you if you had this problem!
