Have your pets ever bitten your sensorbars cabel? Or didn't it work for an other reason?
If you can't buy a new one in the moment, don't despair!
But how?

Answer:

Set fire to candles and place them in front of the sensor bar. (Next to the Best Wii)
That's all.
It really works, and much better than with the sensor bar. But you must look, how much candles you need, is dependent from yout TV. 2 - 6 little candles are enough. The distance to the candles and the TV (Sensorbar and Wii) makes it different.

But why?
The candles send an infrared signal. This signal taken from the Wii. It's a kind of wireless, but very low...
But it workes, and it's an good alternative!!

@Xylon I knew you were going to say something about candles. I looked this up on YouTube before. I'd actually like to try this out sometime, but I'm afraid it might catch something on fire if I leave the room and it falls on the ground and it could also damage the Television from the heat.

Jep^^ it is really amazing xD

@shitnbitch:
I don't leave it alone xD
and I pay attention. There are only little tealights.

It only takes the smallest of a spark to cause a fire, but it's good that you pay attention. I hardly ever pay attention to stuff like that. There was this one time when I cooked some soup on the stove while my parents left the house to go out of town for four - five hours and I went on the computer and I forgot about it all that time and I would've burnt down my house if they would've been out for a few more hours. I'm not allowed to cook anything on the stove or in the oven anymore if my parents are going to leave the house for more than 20 minutes because they're afraid I might burn down the house. I'm only allowed to use the toaster, the kettle and the nuker (microwave). I wonder what's going to happen if I move out of my house in a few more years and I live in an apartment or something and I have a computer, a stove and some soup and there's no one around. Suspect

Lol, I would rather spend the goddamn 10$ for the sensorbar instead of doing something risky. The TV, the Wii and all that is worth way more than trying this out. It probably sucks anyways and if it was the only solution, I´ll just don´t touch my Wii until it´s fixed or I use homebrew to launch some game which doesn´t need the cursor. Twisted Evil

I said it, it's only an alternative. My cat has bitten the cabel -_- I randomly read about the 2nd solution, and I've make it, because I wanted to play^^ But surely I'll buy a new one^^

This is the oldest trick in the book. I used to shine my wiimote at a window where the sun is beaming down on it. xD But my sensor was never broke or anything like that.

That's what my step dad always says, "As long as it works." One time he was blowing the snow with the snow blower and he couldn't find some gloves so he used oven mitts. I asked him "Why aren't you using regular gloves?" And he said "I can't find my gloves and as long as these mitts work to keep your hands warm you can use them instead of regular gloves."

xD yes, it seems to be dangerous, but if you pay attention it isn't like this.
And I said: It's only an alternative. My new sensorbar isn't yet here. (Wireless sensorbar, if my cat try to bite into the cabel again^^)
