Can't get any codes to work english mw3

So i spent a good 2 hours correctly downloading gecko, Ocarnia cheat code manager, After all that i starting working on getting some codes and after about 20 failed attempts i pretty much gave up and decided i did something wrong, So i put some codes in for Zelda skyward sword and they worked the very first time , Which put some ?????? in my head.

Basically no codes will work for mw3 but for other games they will idk where to start with this problem any help is greatly appreciated .

Also everytime i start gecko load the cheats and game it says codes found applying but don't work when game starts.

I have corrected the settings even tried some of ur codes out of the list still can't get codes to work like no recoil,Port radar, Any other ideas ?

Use one code at a time like the tutorial states. Only try one at a time. Make sure your settings are correct.

I tried one code, No luck , I am using sm8e52 is that correct ?

hooktype is your problem

Yes, what are you using to play your games? Gecko OS? USB Loader? What?

Gecko os and i changed my hooktype to the one you specified the oss or w\e

Is the game loading still and the codes just don't work?

Yeah i'm playing and like i said when i load gecko it says applying codes sm8e52 and everything but nothing works

it must be a corrupt .gct file other than that its hooktype

I assume you are using code manager to create the .gct files. Make sure you are not making a mistake. Try to use simple codes like Inf.UAV or REDBOX to test it. Only codes from here. Do you have a legit version of MW3 or a downloaded version?

I use codemgr, But let's not forget that codes work for zelda skyward sword, So it seems to only be having a problem with mw3 , And i bought this game it's not downloaded.

Some games use diffrent hooktypes. Try fiddling around with the options. You have to be doing something wrong.

If it didn't work you're obviously doing something wrong. If you aren't doing something wrong it would've worked the first time you tried it.

Are you kidding me ? Not using my brain? I'v through many tutorials adjusted settings,Tried different codes,Cheat managers,And different games, Which i got codes to work for so obviously i have been trying and using my brain, So go somewhere else with ur ignorant post.
