increasing the RAM is a good way, and you can conserve the cookies of this site so you don't need to load every image every time you access here...

I tried using Firefox (I hate Firefox).

It works with less lag but the all moving animations playback slower than they do in my preferred browser, which is Google Chrome.

Then again I have lag whenever any page has too many images or multiple moving GIF's.

The sad part is that I am looking for a way to disable Avatars/Signatures for this website now, because I won't switch my browsers just to see some animated images.

Not everyone has quality machines.

I'm on Windows 7 64bit - 4GB RAM and it still lag. Specifically, TheDetonator. I suppose it's because he has two animations.
