Best Free Screen Recording Software?

I've tried countless screen recording programs and they all sucked.

Does anyone know a good free screen recorder including audio recording and whatnot?

Camstudio doesn't work and has tons of junkware installation offers
Rylstim doesn't record from input devices
Screenr only records 5 minutes and uploads the clip
Ezvid only let's you upload to YouTube with their advertisement intro
... and many more!

The best I've seen is Screen Recording Suite, but it also has bugs besides the fact that it's not free.

Getting tired of this bullshit. Just give me a basic screen recorder with custom selection, full audio recording support and compressed output files with optimal quality and I'm pleased.

I only know about banicam but I think that only gets you Audio from your computer not your voice

It's alright but the free version only has 10 minutes of recording and always a watermark. I'll stick with Apowersoft for now.

Personally i prefer camstudio. You could try taking a screenshot manually every 1 second and combing all the images together xD

You should use Jing if our just doing Desktop recordings. You can save it as your own file so you don't get those stupid advertising things.

It's for free http://www.techsmith.com/download/jing/ only get it from TechSmith (Creators) all other sites and downloads have a big possibility of spyware and malware. There are no attachment's (Tool Bar Downloads or other stupid programs) apon downloading.
