So i recently downloaded the new update for java (first download of the day) i had last scanned my PC last night. i finished the installation of the Java update then when i scanned my pc with Malwarebytes one threat was detected, PUP.Optional.WinYahoo, Also java does instaoll Yahoo something...

i would check and make sure that your downloading the correct java, i have seen a few Fake jave downloads that are viruses. But in most cases its just a mistake and its a normal file

PUP stands for Potentially Unwanted Program. This could be a toolbar or a program that sends info and data from your computer to another computer across the internet without notifying you or asking for your permission. Shit like that. Chances are, you prolly went to a site that downloaded it onto your computer without notifying you or you installed a program that had a PUP hidden in it. It's happened to me before.
