ASM (we refer to) is PowerPC Assembly (a programming language).

ASM is harder than programming with Java, C# etc. (because you have to write everything yourself and it´s already pretty complicated to do simple stuff Neutral ).

Just thought I would add that the downloads you have provided are for 64bit systems only. If you have a 32 bit system I would use these instead.
