With this tool you can recover your hole wii. You CAN use bootmii, but it isn't imperative. This is an German fixed and updated tool, but it should work for other countries, too. You can change your firmware into 2.4 to 4.3 (E,U,K and J)
If you have system errors, it mostly comes after you have change you wii theme. Warning! Do not change you wii themes! It can damage you wii heavily! If you want to change your Wii version, or want to recover it, than this is the best way. Only download it, and put it into the apps folder. Than start the Homebrew channel and load the app via .dol and follow the instructions.
NOTE:It is in German, so use an translator! The steps should be easy, only choose the firmware and confirm. Then you should start new. You doesn't need cIOS up or downgrades, the program will do this.
