Riivolution

Riivolution is a program to hack textures levels and quests. There two different ways: If you want to use it with Ocarina codes, read part 1, if you want to use it without, read part 2.

Part 1: First you need the Channel, but this can only made with the old version. You won't find it, because it had updated and the old was deletet. Here is a version with the old important parts banner.0 and banner.1

You also need two files, which you can download here:
Ocariina
Paste it into the riivolution folder on the root on your SD Card.

Part 2:Download the newest version of the Riivolution:

If you use the Qustom Quest Maker for Monster Hunter Tri you must put the edited quests into the quests folder.

Hi All,

I just DLed Riivolution v1.04 and I am able play CT both off and online.

I wanted to load Ocarina cheat codes in Rii and play online. I have seen tutorials on youtube for v1.02, but not for the latest version 1.04.

Can anyone please instruct on how this can be done?

It should be the same way, I don't think it would really matter what version you're using. Just use Gecko OS like everyone else.

I have tried it after watching the tutorial, but whenever I launch the Rii, it goes to a black screen and them freezes and then I have to do a forced reboot of the wii.

So, it deffo to do with the version of the Rii.........

Mhh. Try to install new IOS and cIOS with the update apps in the download section. If you use Rii with codes, configure the hook to AnNextFrame. If you want the channel use the older Rii version.

No problem.
Not in the root. Extract the apps and put them into the apps folder. Then start the apps at homebrew channel and upgrade your cIOS and IOS.
Also try to chnge the hook. If it doesn't work you could list all your settings at Rii, and which files you've put onto your SD Card.

There are also cIOS and IOS downgrader...But it shouldn't go wrong. If you update IOS and cIOS it is always good, unless you need special IOS.
You can also clear your hole system with the Firmware dongrader with all cIOS and IOS for the WII Firmware Version.

No problem. Thank's for asking. If you still get a black screen, you can tell me which settings you've set at the Riivolution channel (hook, ocarina).
Your 2nd option is to try it with the rii channel (Install with Rii 1.4)

Okay, I got a black screen at launch.

I tried enabling the hook for VI and the AxNextFrame Hook, still black screen.

You should read my post again...The hook if you use the codes. Use the Rii 1.4 app and install the channel with it. This really should work, it has worked for me, too.

I installed the rii as a channel and even opened up the code.xml and changed the fileid name, as my mkwii is PAL version and in the xml document is was RMCE01. I then launched the game via the channel trying all the hooks and still freezes at black screen.

Please help me...

Easy. RMCE01 isn't for PAL. Lol. Use RMCP01. And don't change the file name.

Use RMCP01! The codes must be used from your region (PAL). This is required.

Not changeing.
Use http://geckocodes.org/index.php?c=RMCP01 this codes. And follow the tutorial. Then it will work. (If you use codes, don't forget to change the hook)
And don't put the codehandler and the ocarina file in the root of your SD, then it won't work.
