[TuT] How To Get The YouTube Video Script To Work On Here

I have had some problems with the YouTube video script in the past and sometimes it will only show the URL and not the actual video itself.

In this topic I'm going to show you how to get it to work.

So, when you want to put a video in your post and instead of showing the video it shows the script and the URL instead as shown below.

[*youtube*]https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playerembedded/v=1234567890@[*/*youtube*]

Remove asterisks.

But you wanted the video to show instead, right?

To get the video to show take out the "feature=playerembedded/" crap and don't put the asterisks in the script like I did as I only did it for the example.

Hopefully your video will show like the one below.





The same problem with playlist URL's:



If you copy the embed link at the youtube videos, it will work.

It also doesn't work if a playlist URL is in the link.



But there is a way to embed it. Under the videos are embed links. Copy them and paste it into the BB Code, then it will work.

just put the link inside brackets like these [youtube](link here)[/youtube]

This doesn't work for embedded and playlist links...The BB Codes only work for video links and embedded URLs (special for BB Codes). I've researched it.
Embed links work for BB Codes, when you use the flash tag, delete the embed URL or use the special link for BB Codes(Below a video)

then you delete the part in red and put it in the [youtube] brackets

to fix this you must delete the junk after & and also remove the s after http so the link will just look like this in the [youtube][/youtube] brackets

The easiest way is to do what is standing in shitnbitchs post.
We only talk about the embedded links. It's much easier, especially for n00bs to copy the embed link. But you can also add your way...
The embed link (Below videos) works for BB Codes.

No problem. I said that embedded links do not work in BB codes. Below the videos are special links for BB Codes. The flash tag work with it, though.

oh well i got from your awful English that you were saying they DID work in BB code
