GBA WiFi / Multiplayer

Yes, I know how to play Game Boy Advance games on wifi or local multiplayer using a computer and the VBA Emulator.

This is years old, but kinda revolutionary. There´s a lot of mystery going on about this and most of the time it doesn´t work or people state bullshit. Therefore took me a while.

Didn't you have to use a USB cord or something and hook it up to your GBA and your friend's GBA, just so you can play with other people before the emulator for the GBA came out?

They're pretty much the same graphics, but they just seem to have more pixels on the PC than the GBA. The colour is probably a bit different too. Those are about the only differences, but I'd still rather use the emulator instead of the actual GBA.

Yea it was called a link cable.

You needed two gbas two times the game and a link cable or a wireless adapter to play with/against each other. All this can be done using the vba emulator like seen.

Quality is best due to my render and recording settings. 1080p on GBA xDD

people still play GBA multiplayer?

No, you have to arrange to connect using your IP.
One guy is the server and the other(s) the clients.

It´s not like you´re seeing people online... the game has no online mode. It´s the emulator which has link cable functionalities that work in networks using your computer. In the video ^ I simply played against myself by running two instances of the emulator to connect to each other.

I can go play Pokemon by myself.
