I'm currently learning how to program in VB.NET 2010. I'm just like you; I'm just too lazy sometimes. lol I still have to make AscMii v0.2. I might work on it today.

Java is probably going to be one of the last languages that I want to try. I'm thinking of moving onto C# once I'm done with VB.NET 2010. I don't want to be doing too much stuff at once.

You could try to make very basic and simple programs in VBS or MS-DOS using Notepad. It's really easy to code simple programs in VBS and MS-DOS, as you don't necessarily need to download and install anything. That's what I first did before I started learning VB.NET 2010.

I think that MS-DOS was the very first language that Microsoft invented. It's a very basic language that no one uses anymore to build actual programs for distribution. Every program and every Microsoft OS runs under MS-DOS and ASM.

Just be careful with DOS though because you can easily f*ck up your computer if you don't know what you're doing.

you're right! but the part that I don't like is that you need to jump from language to language...sometimes you need to dedicate too many hours to get something very simple excluding the errors that may appear.

once I started with HTML, but I gave up after 10 seconds

honestly I like it, but I think that it is not my strong suit

Now you can learn easy because you know the basics of programming, the only thing that changes are the names of the functions but the function remains the same
