What router do you use, i had this problem but i easily fixed it. I use Netgear btw.

Change your router, i had Belkin (which is old one) i had strict nat type.. but now i changed to Netgear and its open... so change it, and also, you made 3 posts about same thing... DONT POST SAME THINGS..

Your NAT type can be strict moderate or open based on your wifi connection is its strict only 1 person can join your lobby if moderate 3-6 people can join and open 9 (the max is 9) I recommend a better modem or moving your modem closer to your wii

I keep port 80 always open and my connection is always open, try that

mine use to be strict but then i upgraded to AT&T uverse and i got host like every other game

I use comcast but im thinking of switching to verizon.

i got verizon wireless 99 percent host every match very fast ty all was just server error for some odd reason next time im def writing a book lol

2. Find a tutorial for setting up your Wii in DMZ mode on your router.
3. Do it, and enjoy better connections (and getting host more often)

The only crap connections I get are on BO2.
MW3 is the best. I literally win every gun fight I´m supposed to win while on BO2 I shoot people for 1 - 2 seconds straight until they realize I´m there and I still get killed by them (!!!) 40 % of the time when this happens.

On MW3 my nat type is "middle" or "regular". You know, between strict and open. Sometimes it´s open though.

My router is 5 years old...

just try putting on DMZ.. if it dosent work,just get a new router, it should fix the problem

Whats bad about your NAT being strict, when i used my old router it was always strict and i had no problem?

strict means you never will get host

Oh ya now i remember, even when i tried force host it just kicked me out because of my NAT type. But it didn't bother my because the only host code i ran was infinite ammo =P
