A Newer Drop Item Code?

Is there a newer version of the code because the ones I've seen rely on the Write Char Offset and there is virtually no way to deactivate it (at least none that I can think of except for using Hamster's program)

Sorry if this is spam. I just feel I should point out that we need a new version that doesn't rely on old addresses.

It doesn't require "Write Char Offset"...
Weird that some coders back then partially had no clue what they were doing.

Tip:
Drop Items is identical to "Item Replacement" of "Red Shell" which in fact can be done using my program called "Item Configuration Helper".

Took me a while to realize back then, but got it all figured.

Thanks I'll give it a shot and report back. Basically I want an easy way to freeze a room (maybe its because of a ftw hacker)
