host position stolen

Hello, recently I used a force host code that works perfectly but some how other players have taken host position.Is there such a thing as stronger force codes or some other cause?

Your host codes migrated to another player. I cannot tell you why that happens cuz idk why it happens but use bully and Welohabis no migrate codes and you should be good to go.

It only works the first match, the 2nd it will probably migrate. You can´t do anything against it.

Except you can do some things to help. These are; have WAY better internet speeds than everyone else in the room. Setting your Wii up in DMZ mode can help on when using wireless or you could use direct Ethernet to avoid the wireless lag.

From my test.. when not using a force host. MW3 seems to pick the machine with the best connection speeds to be the host. I'm pretty sure it is not entirely random.

If we could only fool whatever test it does to determine each users speeds, you could possible achieve a real force host at that point.

True, the game picks the one with the best ping for host. It´s never me. I can tell because I only get it when I force host. The game does a test and then decides. It takes a second or so. If you see the "match starting in ..." counter a new host has been found. We do not know which value and how it changes. Ping may be higher, less or equal the next time and we can´t figure it out either.

Maybe it can be modified, unlikely it will ever happen. It seems like one of the nearly unhackable things.

Well I wouldn't say "unhackable", but extremely hard as I can't think of any viable way to search for such value. Kinda would be like finding a needle in a haystack.
