This is a quick tutorial for the ones that wonder how to have a colored name during the match as non-host player. 
Your profile / lobby name has to consist of the "^" symbol followed by a non-number and the color number you want since the game seems to filter out "^" + the following number for the scoreboard.
You need to use codes to achieve it in general (I believe). Anyways, here are examples:
Working:
^!1Bully@^*3WiiPlaza
Non-working:
^1Bully@^3WiiPlaza
Note that I'm not 100% sure about the possibilities, I haven't tried this out myself. Maybe leave a comment in this topic to clarify fully.
I've seen quite a few people doing it on Black Ops at least.
