It is possible though, but you would really have to use your brain! You'd have to tell the Wii to tell the game to connect to a different server than Nintendo's. And I have absolutely no idea how you could do that and make it work.

Prolly not. I think they're taking down the whole Nintendo DS / Wii WiFi servers.

There's way too many links that Nintendo has for the WiFi shutdown affected applications list. But I hope that the one you just posted is the correct one. There's already enough codes for Mario Kart Wii and it's been raped plenty of times! xD We still aren't finished with Call of Duty though. lol

If you look back at the message received on your Wii from Nintendo. it states that Wii games with the blue "WI-FI" label are to be affected. With that... the only CoD game that will be affected is WaW and MWR I believe.

Hmm... I never really thought about that. But it makes sense because WAW and MWR failed at security, but Black Ops and MW3 got a hell of a lot better. Maybe there might be another patch to stop the hackers on MW3 and Black Ops. I don't know.

They won't do anything but saving money by decreasing servers. Interesting thesis on the "blue WiFi connection" icon. Hopefully it's true Wink

MKWii people are working on it so maybe server hosting tutorials will be available for the other games also since it will probably be very similar

Nintendo themselves did indeed say only games with the "blue wi-fi" label on the cover,would be affected. The only games I know that dont have this label is Black Ops and MW3.
