First topic message reminder :

This topic is about getting code creator status on this site so that you can post your codes to the code section. Code Creator Status - Page 7 1025043054

To apply, post some of your codes in this thread and the staff members on here will decide whether you should be accepted or not. If we notice any or only leeched/ modified/ stolen/ non-working codes you'll be considered a script kiddie (skid) and n00b so think twice before you make yourself look like a dumbass.

Also note that appliances without code proof will be ignored. Wink

Alternatively, you can get "Code Porter" status by porting existing codes to other regions/ games/ game modes. For this you should use my "Wii Gecko Code Porter" Java application:
http://www.bullywiihacks.com/t3423-

Note: When posting codes you have "ported", please do NOT include credits until they have been approved correct by either shitnbitch@BWH or Bully@WiiPlaza. This is to make sure that when the search engine bot picks up the codes and indexes them on Google, Yahoo or Bing that when someone searches for that code they won't have to complain that it doesn't work because it has been marked as correct. Once the codes have been approved, the post will be edited saying "CODES APPROVED!"

Thank you for taking the time to read this! Good luck on getting Coder status! Smile

Code Creator

Hey Guys!I'm new to the WiiPlaza forums, but I thought I'd become a code creator.I have made a couple of codes for Pokemon XD:Gale Of Darkness(NTSC-U0[GXXE01].These codes allow us to flag pokemon as shadow at any given time, and give the shadow characteristics of one shadow pokemon to a normal pokemon,or even forcibly purify a pokemon. The floating pointers at the end of my codes or our values that could be replaced with X are the shadow pokemon we see in chronological order in the game.Lets say we choose to flag our pokemon as a Shadow Lugia, right?Well,Shadow Lugia is the 73rd Shadow Pokemon to be spotted in the game,so our floating pointer value would have to be 49.When we flag a pokemon as a certain shadow pokemon,we give our flagged pokemon the moveset of the selected shadow pokemon, and the rate it is purified at and the rate it goes into Reverse/Hyper Mode at as well. The only pokemon that seems to defy this rule slightly is Shadow Lugia, who's heart gauge can go all the way down, then repeats its cycle instead of staying completely full at the same time. Here are some of my tested codes:
Shadow Pokemon Flag Codes:
The pokemon flagged as the 13th Shadow Pokemon has the moves Shadow Rush and Shadow Blitz. It is easily purifyable and goes into Reverse mode frequently.(Pokemon hurts itself, which is sort of like confusion). The pokemon flagged as an XD Shadow Pokemon,or the 73rd Shadow Pokemon has Shadow Lugia's full moveset, and is purified in the same manner as it.However, the gauge can go all the way to 0,and then it jumps back up again.Pokemon flagged as Purified get all Shadow moves removed, and go back to a normal moveset.I don't believe they register as being purified in the shadow Pokemon list on the PDA,but I'm not really sure.Pokemon who are flagged as the same shadow become linked, and anything involving status as a Shadow Pokemon is connected. If one is purified through normal means without the code, all pokemon with this Shadow Moveset get purified as well.Normally purified pokemon actually register in the PDA as a RANDOM shadow pokemon, which is due to them normally not being available in that state. If a pokemon is purified through means of a code, they are simply unlinked from the Shadow status, and others won't be affected by it.I might be releasing Shadow Pokemon codes for the PC Boxes, but I haven't tested them in-game yet.I hope you guys enjoy these! Also, the one code that was not credited to me was made by someone else.He had only posted that one shadow slot code, and none other.I looked at other codes, and seen a strange ongoing pattern where each slot value for each pokemon was 196 offset values from the last, which is C4 in hex. So,I pretty much added C4 to the beginning offset, and was able to result it in this. Also guys, these codes have a tendency to freeze,so save and quit immediately the second you confirm these work in game. Also,if you get into battle with these codes on a pokemon can appear as Shadow or purified when they normally shouldn't be.When you try to attack them however, the game immediately crashes.Maybe if we tried snagging them,we maybe could get a result of a steal trainer pokemon code?
EDIT:The codes might not work correctly if more than 6 are used at a time.Sometimes,Gecko OS Mod will miss a value or two,so only use 6 at a time!

It sounds good though, maybe make some more codes?

Bully,I have honestly made 720 more codes involving shadow pokemon flags for Pokemon XD.The other codes are meant to modify Shadow Pokemon flags in all PC slots. The codes aren't perfect though,as certain pokemon sometimes randomly resist the flags.Pokemon who have been purified sometimes resist it,and I had a random Articuno resist it today. However,I put it in my party, used the Flags for Party pokemon, and it worked just fine.I'm guessing it was due to the fact I had a Shadow Articuno in the PC with a different flag then this one,and that might have interfered. This might be true due to the fact that after I took it out,and used it in party,it worked perfectly. However,I hope I can get registered on the WiiRD forums. Also Bully,if you want me to post the other 720 codes on this forum to prove I'm a code maker, just ask,and I'll post the rest of the 720 codes.

Alright Bully. If you have Pokemon XD:Gale Of Darkness for the GameCube,I hope you enjoy these codes. You probably noticed by now that many of these codes are similar, right?Well, how I got these codes to work was starting from a base code.A hacker name 0'Lungfish found the offset value for the location of the shadow status of the Pokemon in the 1st Party Slot. After using this as a base,I compared and contrasted many other codes and noticed an ongoing pattern. Each codes offset values for any of the stat editing codes were C4 or 196 values from the last. After this,I looked at codes that had to do with modification of the Storage/PC.When we switch from one box to another,we'd go up by D8 or 216 values, and then each offset goes by this C4 pattern again until the next box, which then repeats the D8 thing and goes back to going up in C4.Basically,I repeated the pattern for our base offset, and my little guess was spot on.So basically, this code was just trial and error with testing the float values to find out the Shadow Flags, and then the offset values were just a huge pattern.Funny what you can make from a base of a 16 character code, isn't it?
Also Bully, can you get them to add me as a member on the WiiRD forums?I want to contribute these codes to the www.Geckocodes.org code database, and I can't due to all of my requests being denied. This would pretty much double the amount of Pokemon XD codes that the Code Database has.

Uhm, you better give them a formula to calculate all the offsets themselves.

Also it seems like you base all your codes on other people's work, correct?

Alright Bully,I'll give them the method I used to find these offsets. Also Bully, yes I base my codes off of others research, and out of one code,I got 720.Before I go on as to saying how I used a pattern to find the offsets, first I must ask you something Bully.I need to get registered on the WiiRD forums to be able to post my codes to www.Geckocodes.org,and I keep getting my registration denied.Could you request me an account on the forums? If I were able to post these to www.Geckocodes.org,then I would be able to double the current amount of Pokemon XD Codes on the Website, and I believe this would really help them out a little.
I used this code by 0'Lungfish I found online as a base code:
Base Code:
This code modifies the shadow status of a pokemon, allowing us to flag a pokemon as a shadow. The original creator of this code used the value C or 13 as the float value, making our flagged pokemon have the same shadow moves,Hyper mode probability, and the same heart gauge rate and purification rate as well. The code may also link that specific pokemon with the original 13th shadow pokemon,so if you have it,it's stats involving it being a shadow pokemon may carry over.
Afterwards,I converted it to a Gecko OS code, which is displayed here:

Converted Gecko OS Code:
What I did to find the offsets was to compare other stat editing codes. Here's what I found:
Party Slot To Party Slot Code Research:
Notice anything about the 3rd line of the code beside the X's.I'm talking about the offset values 170 and 234.I decided that I might try to find the difference of each offset, and I got the difference of C4,which is 196 hex values from the last offset. Now,take a look at the next one:
Second Party Slot To Party Slot Code Research:
Once again,we subtract 234 from 2F8,and once again we get a difference of C4.Now,take a look at these codes that modify stats:
Code Research From Pokemon Stat Slot 1 To 2:
Lines 3,4,5,6,7,and 8 have offsets that are the offsets of the stats for those specific pokemon. If we subtract each value from each other in the same line, say C38 and B74,we once again keep getting C4.This says that each stat is 196 values apart. So,we add C4 to the base offset over and over again, and we make codes out of that specific pattern. But,there is one thing this doesn't completely apply to.These are pokemon in storage.I then took a look at codes that move from party to box,and box to box. This is what I got:
Code Research For Party To Box:
Once again,we minus our offsets AE4 and 544,and we get 5A0,and get 1440 hex values apart. After that, our offset pattern of C4 begins once again, until our next box.Take a look at this research:
Code Comparison From Box To Box:
After we go from box to box,we subtract our offsets 21F0 and 2118,and we get the hex value D8.This is 216 hex values apart from the last slot, and afterwards, the C4 pattern continues, and the D8 continues from box to the next box,and the C4 pattern begins again until we hit the last slot of box 8.This is when our offset list ends for all of the shadow status codes. All I did was notice patterns in other codes, and applied them to a base. So,what did you think of this Bully?

Dude, try to be creative and make up new stuff instead of continuing others' work. Do you own a USB Gecko? If so, go through and start searching and replacing values (CORRECTLY... Not just aimlessly). You'll eventually find a cool or lulzy code.

If you dont have a gecko, use RAM dumps to find addresses that might do something you want. You need a good idea of what and where you're looking.

Lol, too long didn't read. I'd die doing it accurately.
You know what you're doing, you can have the code creator status then.
I'll try to get you a geckocodes account too x)

Thanks Jaeremix!I don't have a Gecko, and my laptop is too horrible to play Dolphin games,so I'm going to extract my RAM dump and do a little guess and check.By the way, thanks for that YouTube video about this you posted. It'll really help!

Yeah,I seen the video.I really don't believe I'll get too much out of the raw dump for this though,as each pokemon only has 192 values to its name.I sadly don't have a USB Gecko,so I'm pretty much flying blindly.Normally,I'll experiment with offset locations, and I normally get something. Also though, before I edited this guys code,it was pretty horrible. The 13th shadow pokemon only had 2 shadow moves, which were the weakest in the game!It constantly entered Reverse Mode, and it would hurt itself over, and over again. It got really annoying.Apparently, the original creator was a little lazy on finding the appropriate offsets an values. If I experiment with Pokemon offsets within a 192 hex value range, and I find every stat, all I have to do is continue our pattern.Makes it easy with values so close in range in this game.

You need to apply in this topic only showing a bunch of your codes though since it didn't work with the group. Neutral
