Code Creator Status

First topic message reminder :

This topic is about getting code creator status on this site so that you can post your codes to the code section. 

To apply, post some of your codes in this thread and the staff members on here will decide whether you should be accepted or not. If we notice any or only leeched/ modified/ stolen/ non-working codes you'll be considered a script kiddie (skid) and n00b so think twice before you make yourself look like a dumbass.

Also note that appliances without code proof will be ignored. 

Alternatively, you can get "Code Porter" status by porting existing codes to other regions/ games/ game modes. For this you should use my "Wii Gecko Code Porter" Java application:

Note: When posting codes you have "ported", please do NOT include credits until they have been approved correct by either shitnbitch@BWH or Bully@WiiPlaza. This is to make sure that when the search engine bot picks up the codes and indexes them on Google, Yahoo or Bing that when someone searches for that code they won't have to complain that it doesn't work because it has been marked as correct. Once the codes have been approved, the post will be edited saying "CODES APPROVED!"

I don't think that there are any really good programmers on this site that aren't already in two groups.

I think that there should be at least two helpers that look after such sections like the "spam section" or "program downloads" section though.

I ported some codes for Mario Kart Wii from NTSC U to NTSC K since there isn't much codes for the Korean region. I don't have the Korean version of the game, but I do have the NTSC U version. I've ported about 15 codes to the NTSC U region, but every single code that I ported had already been ported by someone.

They haven't been tested yet because I don't have the NTSC K version of Mario Kart Wii. I did it without Delta Maker or the Windows calculator. I did it with HxD and some RAM dumps. I'm absolutely sure that these will work because when I ported some codes to NTSC U and I tested them they all worked.

If you´re a good porter, there won´t be need to test since you´ll know that it works.

I can tell you ported properly without testing.

Here´s a tip:
If you port ASM codes, it´s very useful to use gecko.net´s disassembly to view the instructions. If it´s not, you only use the memory viewer. Do not use HxD, it´s disadvantageous towards gecko.net in many ways since it´s not specifically made for wii coding. There´s nothing gecko.net can´t do, but HxD can... the only good thing about HxD is the faster searching speed.

Also, I´ve decided to give you Code Creator status, nice job.

I don't really think portingdeserves hacker status. Any type of port is easy as hell.

He earned it in general not suddenly by now...

[SGT]Ghost should not have coder status

Yeah, but [STG]Sgt. Ghost has actually made a few codes. He made some for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Smash-Up. I forget if they were ported or not, but I think he made them with his Gecko. I might be wrong.

Yeah [SGT] barely deserves in my opinion also. But at least he post things up sometimes, which is alot better than most of the idle coders on this site.

Zant@Italy bought his gecko and then disappeared once he could not learn to use it. He really does not deserve it.

I really wish we had more active coders, we could start a team project or something.

I'm trying to build a project for MW3 in Visual Basic 2010 and I'm having some issues and bugs in it, but I should have it finished and released within the next few weeks once I can get it to work 100% with very few minor bugs to no bugs at all.

I'll give you a picture of it and the full source for it if you want and we can both work on it or you can just finish it off for me and you can have 40% of the project if you finish it off for me.

Eh, i wish i could have a USB gecko. I would probally know how to use it cause i learned about the stuff even though i dont have it.

The codes are correctly ported I´ve taken a look.

I made these codes with my USB Gecko. I doubt anyone will use them. I just want to get coder creator status. Someone told me I could if I post my codes I made here.

I checked all the codes on google cause that's me, i always check any new codes someone made (except bully and seth) and see if they just copied it from somewhere else. Seems like you made those codes so ya.

If someone really makes codes himself, chances are low that he comes up with the exact same. It happens though...

I would Seth but all I got left is Mario Kart and Modern Warfare 3. Maybe download some other games later. But when I try to get on MW3 with my USB Gecko it says "Unable to connect to MW3 Online" It works when I don't use the USB Gecko though.

You need to run this code. To get online in any game while using a USB gecko.
