RapidCrap (RapidShare) is Getting Shutdown

If you ask me, I think those pricks deserve to be shutdown. Only allowing premium accounts and charging $680 a year for only 300 fucking GB! You'd have to be beyond brain-dead to pay that much for just 300 GB. There's also a few other reasons why they're greedy, stupid little fucks, but I think that sums it up.

These assholes kept deleting all files every year or two. They used to assure you some GB for free but then made it zero. They're fucked up in so many ways, also those prices lmao. Compare that to mediafire or something (1 TB for $64.99 / Quarter).

Some people might be forgetting that you can buy a 2 TB drive for only 1xx $ so their networking costs can't be that high xD

Good thing they go out of business finally, it was a desperate struggle.

In general people should probably have their own web hosters at home because companies doing that for you have proven to suck ass. I do have a NAS (network attached storage) so I could put a file hoster with 2,7 TB space online which will never be taken down or something without my consent and it's basically free to use for me then with unlimited everything. xD
