Hello, first off i wanted to say great job. i like playing through a game first but once i do i enjoy having a bit of fun with it and some of these codes are a ball. i was wondering though i wanted to try the god mode hack and i cant seem to get it to work. the first one i will get into the game and try to activate it and nothing happens i just cycle through my grenade types (nunchuke attatched) or switch to secondary weapon (playstation looking wii controller attached) once i saw that i tried the second code and i will go to join a game but as it loads (after map picking screen) it freezes and i need to reset my system. have you seen this happen before and do you know how i can fix this problem. i have looked through your site but cant find what iom looking for. i am very new to this but learning it has been very fun. i would love to learn more. do you have any information on how you make the codes i would love to learn. thanks for all the work you have done and helped out everyone on your site. i look forward to hearing from you.

just wanted to add when i tried it that it was the only active
code checked through my code manager so there was not any interference
from others codes

If you want to know how Bully and other hackers make codes look up some tutorials on YouTube, on Google or even on this website.

You'll need a USB Gecko to make the awesome hacks Bully and others make, but you don't necessarily need one for porting codes from one region to the other or for making 05 codes, although you can still make 05 codes with a USB Gecko and you can make deactivators for codes using a thing called a RAM dump, but you need a USB Gecko for making RAM dumps though. People have already made RAM dumps for most of the popular games on the Wii. You can find the RAM dumps in the RAM dumps section on this site.

Also, stop setting dvar = 05 code once again. It´s 2 different things. And Goldeneye doesn´t have that anyways.

@ShitnBitch, Dvars are simply "options" left in the game that we kinda know what they do. These things would be hard to find with just USB gecko searching, because most of their values never change. They can be written in many different code types not just 05.

The difference between the 04 & 05 code types is that 04 writes to the base memory range (80 or 90) and 05 writes to the base memory range + 0x01000000 (81 or 91).

So, what would I call the one's that I'm usually referring to, RAM dump codes?

Most code types can be used when making codes from ram dumps.

00/01 -8bit ram write
02/03 -16bit ram write
04/05 -32bit ram write

What Welohabi said about 04/05, also applies to 00/01 and 02/03.

i went to wiiplaza and found a working code. it doesnt work ,like it is supposed to but its basically the same and i had a fun few minutes with it. i dont like using code like that for long cuz its not fun for other people. its weird though some codes work but others dont or they do something different then what they are supposed to. i have been going through different codes trying to see if they work and what they do if they dont seem to do what they are supposed to. i wish i knew how the code is written and what it all means it would make it easier, lol. thanks for the help. seems like you got a lot more over at your other site.im still looking through that one.

What do you mean? Like having the code automatically select it for you?
